After you set up your hosting account, you can change its primary domain name and add secondary domain names.
* Using Deluxe, Premium, or Unlimited hosting accounts, you can host separate websites for your secondary domain names. For more information, see Hosting Multiple Websites on Your Hosting Account.
* Using Economy hosting accounts, you can only point secondary domain names to your primary domain name's website.
NOTE: If you have an SSL certificate applied to your hosting account, you cannot change your primary hosted domain name.
If the domain name you want to add and your hosting account are in the same shopper account, we automatically update the domain's DNS information to point to the hosting account.
If the domain name you want to add and your hosting account are in different shopper accounts, you need to manually update your DNS information to point to the hosting account. We recommend updating your A record (IP address). For more information, see How do I find the IP address of my hosting account?.
NOTE: These processes differ for Linux shared hosting accounts running Hosting Configuration 1.0. Accounts established after September 7th, 2007, run Hosting Configuration 2.0. If you do not know which configuration your hosting account runs, see How can I find what hosting configuration my account is running?.
